Michigan authorities investigate after two separate semi trailer fires at warehouse

Battle Creek police and firefighters are investigating after multiple trailers burned at a warehouse location over the weekend.

The trailer fires occurred at Behnke Warehouse on South Union Street in Battle Creek, Michigan.

The first fire was reported around 6:45 p.m. on Saturday.

The trailers were reportedly unlocked and a burning tire was found by firefighters on the ground outside of the trailers.

Firefighters were called to the warehouse shortly before 9:30 on Sunday morning for another trailer fire. Only one trailer was damaged in this fire.

Warehouse employees also reported that their personal vehicles had been entered.

No injuries were reported in either fire.

The Battle Creek Police Department and firefighters are investigating the cause of the fires.
