Minnesota troopers responding to multiple semi crashes and slide-offs

Published:

The Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) is dealing with multiple crashes in the west central part of the state as winter weather made travel treacherous on Friday morning.

MSP says that troopers are responding to crashes and vehicles sliding off of the roadway, particularly on I-94. Many of the crashes/slide-offs involve semi trucks.

Troopers say that no injuries have been reported at this time.

A winter storm brought strong winds and blanketed some parts of Minnesota and the eastern Dakotas with up to six inches of snow.

“It’s slippery and windy out there. Slow down and increase your following distance,” troopers advised.
