A motorcyclist walked away from a wreck with a semi truck that mangled his motorcycle in Minnesota on Monday.

The accident happened on November 8th at around noon at the intersection of County Road 11 and Highway 212 just outside of Carver, Minnesota.

According to the Carver County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck ended with the motorcycle caught beneath the rear wheels of the tractor trailer. The details of the wreck have not been released, but police say that the motorcycle rider sustained only minor injuries, and the truck driver was not hurt.

The Carver county Sheriff’s Office is using the incident to remind citizens to always wear a helmet and other protective equipment when riding a motorcycle.

“It might very well be the difference between life and death,” they wrote in a Facebook post.
