A motorist survived a serious crash that left their car crunched beneath a semi truck in Florida early on Monday morning.
The accident happened on February 1st near Doral, Florida.
According to Local 10 News, the car and big rig collided near the Northwest 25th Street and Northwest 97th Avenue intersection, seriously injuring the motorist, damaging their car, and spilling 15 gallons of diesel fuel at the scene.
The unnamed motorist was airlifted to a nearby hospital trauma center. No other injuries have been reported.
The reasons behind the crash have not been released.
