Actor and musician John Schneider recently debuted a new song inspired by the heroic efforts of America’s truck drivers during the COVID-19 crisis.
The song is called “Truck On” and it will be featured on a new album of the same name that’s out on April 12.
Schneider is best known for his turn as Bo Duke on The Dukes of Hazzard, but he’s been cranking out pro-trucker music and movie content for years. Schneider says that he was inspired to write the song while driving cross country during the pandemic and seeing the efforts of truckers to keep America moving.
According to Taste of Country, a portion of the proceeds from the Truck On album sales will go towards the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund, a charity organization that provides financial relief for truckers and their families who are in need.
