Old school truck stop to shut their doors for good

Published:

A Missouri truck stop that has served drivers for decades will close in a matter of weeks.

The Farris Truck Stop, located off I-29 at Exit 35 in Faucett, Missouri, will be closing on May 2, 2021, a company representative confirmed to CDLLife via phone.

The truck stop opened in 1976 and is perhaps best known for its sign with a 1974 Peterbilt truck with a 1965 Fruehauf trailer mounted 50 feet high.

CDLLife has reached out to Pilot for more information regarding various social media reports that the company has purchased the Farris Truck Stop. This article will be updated with any response.

If you can’t make it to the Farris Truck Stop before it closes, check out the YouTube video tour below.
