The Massachusetts State Police are asking drivers to seek other routes for the rest of the evening after a bridge strike occurred in Medford.
The bridge strike was reportedly shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday on southbound I-93 at Exit 24 and Roosevelt Circle.
In images captured at the scene, you can see a truck marked as oversized load wedged under the bridge along with what appears to be damage to the structure.

No injuries have been reported.
The two right lanes of southbound I-93 are closed as well as both directions on Roosevelt Circle overpass as crews clean up the crash and inspect the bridge for damage.

Massachusetts State Police are asking drivers to avoid the area for the rest of the day.
State Police are responding to Route 93 South at Roosevelt Circle (EXIT 24) in Medford for a bridge strike. The right two travel lanes on Route 93 South are closed. Roosevelt Circle (Route 28 over Route 93) is closed.
Avoid this area for the remainder of evening.
