The accident and subsequent rescue happened on the evening of January 3rd near Casper, Wyoming.

According to Oil City News, the semi truck overturned on Interstate 80 near mile marker 51, trapping the unnamed driver inside of the twisted cab.

It took crews an hour and a half to extricate the driver, who was then transported to a nearby hospital. The extent of their injuries is not clear.

“The fire department worked hard for approximately 90 minutes to free the driver, who was then transported to Evanston Regional Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash,” Uinta County Fire and Ambulance said in a Facebook post.
