Passerby pulls driver from overturned semi truck

Published:

A semi truck driver was pulled from his semi truck by a passing motorist in Michigan on Wednesday morning.

The accident and subsequent rescue occurred on April 7th at around 11:30 a.m. in Flint Township.

According to MLive News, the trucker told first responders that he “got cut off, lost control and flipped the truck over,” which caused the rig to slide across the ramp and trap the driver inside. Thankfully, a passing motorist was able to free the driver from the wreckage before first responders could even arrive.

“Some passersby helped him get out of the car,” said Flint Township Fire Assistant Chief Mark Rowley.

The driver was not seriously injured in the crash.
