Police asking for help in locating truck, trailer after theft spree

Police in Alabama are asking for help in locating a stolen semi truck and stolen trailer after robbers went on a theft spree late last week.

The truck and trailer were stolen from two separate locations on Friday, September 17th; the truck from Dadeville and the trailer from Alexander City.

According to ABC 33 40, the truck is a 2006 Kenworth with decals spelling “CLT” on the doors and the number 13 on both sides of the hood. The rig has no license plate.

Police say that, after stealing the truck, the thieves traveled to Alexander City where they stole a flatbed trailer loaded with lumber. The license plate on the trailer is ‘31TR645B.’

Anyone with information on this truck and trailer is urged to call the Dadeville Police Department or CrimeStoppers using the 24-hour tip line at 215-STOP (7867) or 1-833-AL1-STOP.
