Police on search for woman who bullied, punched man during traffic jam following semi truck wreck

Published:

A man was punched, called a racial slur, and had his truck damaged during a traffic jam caused by a jackknifed semi truck in Oregon on Monday – now police are searching for the woman responsible.

The incident occurred on the afternoon of January 4th near Wilsonville, Oregon.

According to Fox 12 Oregon, Brad Smith was stuck in a traffic jam caused by a jackknifed semi truck on Interstate 5 when he decided to change lanes. Smith says he signaled to get over, but once he pulled in front of the car, the female driver exited the car in a rage, accusing him of cutting her off.

“She’s outraged, she gets out of the car, comes to my driver’s side window, says how dare you cut me off, called me the N-word, and hit me in my face,”  Smith said.

Smith says that the woman then spat on him, and he and his passenger exited his pickup truck to confront her – and that’s when she brought out a knife and swung at Smith’s passenger.

“She called me the N-word again, took the knife, stabbed my truck, and scratched it on the side and asked how do I like that,” he explained.

Another driver stopped in the traffic was able to snap a photo of the woman. Anyone with information surrounding her identity are urged to call 503-682-1012 and reference CCSO Case # 21-000234.

Can you help Wilsonville Police Department identify this road-rage suspect? She reportedly got out of her vehicle to punch another driver, then scratched the victim driver's vehicle with a knife…..
