Random man charges tow truck driver with kitchen knife

A man was arrested Thursday after charging a tow truck driver with a large kitchen knife. 

The incident happened on January 14th at around 12:49 a.m. in Lincoln, Nebraska. 

According to KOLN News, a tow truck driver was near 11th and G Streets when he noticed a man standing in the middle of the street. The driver claims that, when the man saw him, he began sprinting towards the tow truck with a large knife in hand, screaming as he ran. 

The tow truck driver was uninjured, but contacted police, who located the man at 11th and H Streets, with a large kitchen knife nearby. 

The man has been identified as 37-year-old Benjamin Buras, and officers say he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. 

Buras has since been arrested and is facing multiple charges, including terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
