Reckless motorist at large after driving wildly, firing at trucker

Police are searching for a motorist that allegedly shot at a truck driver on an Ohio highway early on Thursday morning. 

The incident happened at around 1 a.m. on Interstate 76 east near East Market street in Akron, Ohio on July 22nd.

According to the Akron Beacon Journal, the truck driver was traveling on the highway when he was brake checked by a silver car. He then noticed the same car  tailgating another vehicle and switched lanes to avoid the reckless driver. The trucker says he then saw the driver of the silver car pull out a handgun and heard gunshots and bullets make contact with his truck as the car exited the highway. 

The trucker says he fled the area before calling police. 

Now, police are working to collect information on the suspect in order to identify the motorist and car involved.
