Sedan slammed into turning truck, became wedged underneath

A motorist survived a serious two vehicle crash that occurred in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on Wednesday.

The crash happened on Wednesday morning at NW Broad Street at Northstar Drive as a semi truck driver was making a left turn.

A white sedan crashed into the turning truck and became wedged under the trailer.

Police say that the motorist had to be cut out of the car.

The motorist was alert and was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

Police did not provide information on the cause of the crash, but they did warn drivers that local roads were slick due to rain.
