South Dakota troopers call out truck driver for ‘Final Destination’ chain job

The South Dakota Highway Patrol took to Facebook to put a truck driver on blast for a backhoe haul that could’ve taken a deadly turn.

On Tuesday, April 27, the South Dakota Highway Patrol shared alarming photos captured at the Jefferson Port of Entry.

Troopers wrote:

Two 15,000 pound backhoes and not a single chain was fastened. This could have potentially caused a serious final destination scene on the interstate if they would have rolled off the trailer onto the road way. Good job Inspector Miller!
