A man was fatally struck by a semi truck while engaged in a street fight in Texas over the weekend.
The accident happened on January 30th at around 8:47 p.m. in Arlington, Texas.
According to The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, two men were engaged in a physical fight on the sidewalk along the 1300 block of East Abram Street when one of the men fell into the roadway in front of an oncoming semi truck.
The truck was unable to avoid the man and struck him, killing him on site.
The truck driver then came to a stop to check on the man, but left the scene shortly afterwards. When police arrived, the truck driver returned to the scene and was interviewed by detectives.
According to surveillance video of the incident, the man was not intentionally pushed into traffic, and the truck driver is not facing any charges.
The incident is still under investigation.
