Police officers seized a massive amount of money from the back of a semi truck in Texas over the weekend.
The incident happened on Saturday, April 24th in Cameron County, Texas.
According to KURV News, officers initially stopped the tractor trailer for a traffic violation. For unknown reasons, the officers then brought over a K9 that alerted to the sleeper berth in the rig. Officers then searched the cab and discovered more than $700,000 in cash.
Officers seized the cash and are still investigating where the truck was coming from and where it was heading. Unspecified charges against the driver are still pending.
