On Tuesday, police in Texas shared dramatic dash cam footage of a deputy’s close call with a truck near El Campo.
The video was captured on northbound U.S. 59 around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23 as a Wharton County Sheriff’s Office Deputy responded to a previous single vehicle crash.
In the video clip, you can see a deputy approaching a damaged car. He appears to be taken completely by surprise when a semi truck hits the guardrail and comes to a sudden stop, barely missing him.
No injuries were reported.
