Three semi trucks crashed in Pennsylvania on Wednesday morning, resulting in a very big mess and a road closure.
The accident happened on Wednesday, July 7th before sunrise in Venango County, Pennsylvania.
According to WKBN 27 News, the three-rig accident happened on Interstate 80 westbound between Emlenton and Clintonville, where the three semi trucks collided for reasons that are still unknown.
BREAKING NEWS: just a bit ago, on Channel 11 Morning News, we told you I-80 is CLOSED westbound between Emlenton and Clintonville. Here is why! Looks like tons of juice spilled on the roadway after a 3 tractor-trailer accident. #PittsburghTraffic #WPXI https://t.co/UyYsfsftyh pic.twitter.com/ij0MehZyst— WPXI Traffic (@WPXITraffic) July 7, 2021
The force of the crash ripped open at least one of the trailers and scattered a load of juice boxes across the roadway. Because of this, crews have closed the westbound lanes of I-80 while they clear the juice boxes and remove the wrecked trucks.
It is not clear whether any injuries were sustained in the incident.
Officials expect the roadway to be reopened sometime on Wednesday.
