Truck driver arrested for fatally stabbing fellow driver at California distribution center

A truck driver has been arrested in connection with the Wednesday night stabbing of another truck driver in Chino, California.

Police were called to the scene at a Chino distribution center around 11 p.m. on Wednesday.

On arrival, they discovered a 61 year old truck driver from Rancho Cucamonga with multiple stab wounds to his torso.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.

On Thursday, 47 year old Fontana-based truck driver Miguel Viveros was arrested on suspicion of murder.

Police say that they found the knife believed to have been used in the stabbing in the possession of Viveros.

Viveros is being held without bond.

According to CBSLA, investigators discovered that both truck drivers had dropped off deliveries at the distribution center and became involved in an argument prior to the attack.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Chino Police Department at (909) 334-3172.
