Truck driver carjacked at gunpoint, found tied up in trailer, Atlanta police say

Authorities say that an armed suspect approached a UPS truck as it was stopped at a traffic light.

The suspect reportedly entered the cab and forced the driver to continue driving to an apartment complex at Bankhead Court.

When the truck arrived at the location, the suspect and others tied up the driver and loaded packages from the trailer into another vehicle.

After the truck was reported late to an appointment, it was tracked by the company to the location near Bankhead Court.

Police found the truck driver uninjured and tied up inside the trailer.

The incident remains under investigation.
