Truck driver does something surprising after he’s inspected by a Colorado trooper several times

Published:

A truck driver who was inspected on multiple occasions by the same Colorado State Patrol trooper went out of his way to show appreciation for the officer’s professionalism.

The Colorado State Patrol recently shared an email that they received from a truck driver known as Ken regarding his interactions with Master Trooper Barnes.

The letter reads:

With regards,

I’d like to submit a compliment on behalf of all of us who haul essential goods on our Colorado highways. I was stopped in my propane delivery truck just north of Villa Grove on HWY 285 yesterday by Officer Barnes. I’ve been inspected by him 3 or 4 times in the past 3 years, and I have to say, when I saw him waving me in for inspection, I was happy. He’s never been anything but courteous, professional and always willing to answer my questions and send me on my way. I have the utmost respect for all of our troopers out there risking their lives on a daily basis and I take comfort knowing that people like D. Barnes are helping to keep the roads safe. I thank you all!!

Take care, be safe and respectfully,

Ken
