Trucker attacks man with bear spray after he refuses to let her drive her rig drunk

A woman was arrested in Idaho Tuesday morning after allegedly attacking a man with bear spray in a truck yard. 

The incident happened on March 30th at around 3 a.m. in Idaho Falls. 

According to East Idaho News, police were initially called to the scene by a man claiming a woman was throwing rocks at his vehicle. However, when police arrived, the discovered a different man standing in the trucking yard, half naked in below freezing weather while “screaming in pain.”

The man explained to officers that he had been sleeping in the sleeper berth of Crystal Allery’s semi truck when she attempted to drive the rig drunk. The man refused to let her drive, so Allery responded by spraying him in the face with a can of bear spray, covering his head and shoulders in the stuff. 

First responders transported the man to a nearby hospital for medical treatment while officers searched for Allery. She was soon discovered at a nearby truck stop, where she claimed the man had strangled her, which led to the bear spray attack. 

Police reportedly did not find any signs of strangulation injuries on Allery’s body that would support her accusations.Allery was arrested and booked into Bonneville County Jail on $10,000 bond.She is facing felony charges for  domestic battery inflicting traumatic injury.
