Trucker facing charges for allegedly arranging to meet with teen at truck stop

A truck driver is facing multiple charges after allegedly arranging to meet with a teenmager at a local truck stop. 

The incident happened on Sunday, May 9th at around 5:50 p.m. in Willington,Connecticut. 

According to The Fairfield Citizen, troopers received a call from a family living on Ruby Road reporting a ‘suspicious incident,’ in which the family believed a truck driver was attempting to meet their 15-year-old child at a truck stop in Willington. 

The complaint led to the arrest of 45-year-old Shawn M. Arnold of Auburn, Maine.

Arnold is currently facing charges of  risk of injury to a child, second-degree sexual assault and enticing a minor by computer. He is being held on $250,000 bond.
