Trucker flees scene of overturned rig

A truck driver fled the scene after rolling his rig on a highway in Arizona on Thursday morning. 

The accident happened on January 21st at around 11:30 a.m. in Surprise, Arizona. 

According to AZ Family News, the rig was driving along the northbound loop at 303 at Waddell Road when it rolled, spilling a load of dirt across the roadway.

Officers say that the trucker promptly fled the scene following the wreck, abandoning the rig.
