Trucker trapped in tangled rig for two hours

A truck driver was stuck inside of his horribly mangled rig for two hours following a Sunday afternoon wreck. 

The accident happened on April 11th in Rush Township, Pennsylvania. 

According to 6 WJAC News, the wreck involved a semi truck and a pickup truck on Tyrone Pike near the 4500 block. The wreck left three people injured and trapped the trucker inside of his cab. Emergency crews worked for two hours to free the driver from the wrecked rig. 

After the driver was freed, he was airlifted to a nearby hospital. His current condition is not known. The conditions of the injured occupants of the pickup have not been released. 

The crash is still under investigation.
