Two charged in road rage shooting of truck driver in Nashville

Published:

Police have arrested and charged two suspects in connection with a road rage shooting that sent a truck driver to the hospital on Tuesday.

On Wednesday night, the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) announced that Jemarvin Jenkins, 22, and Shaun Quinn-Eggleston, 19, had been charged with aggravated assault in connection with a suspected road rage shooting.

Police say that they were able to locate Jenkins and Quinn-Eggleston along with a black Acura caught on the truck driver’s dash cam at an apartment complex in Antioch Park.

The shooting occurred at 1:40 p.m. on September 14 on Murfreesboro Pike in Nashville, Tennessee.

Police said that the two suspects were angry that the truck driver changed lanes in front of them. They allegedly cut off the truck, and after the truck stopped, police say that the men exited a black Acura and fired a shot through the door of the truck, striking the truck driver in the midsection. The two men then fled the scene.

The 40 year old truck driver was taken to the hospital and was listed in stable condition.
