Two drivers dead after SUV slams into their disabled semi truck

Two truck drivers were killed while standing on the side of the interstate on Tuesday night. 

The accident happened at around 8 p.m. near Bridgeton, Missouri on March 16th along Interstate 270.

According to KMOV 4 News, the two truck drivers were standing next to their disabled truck, partially blocking the right lane between the St. Charles Rock road and Highway 370 when an oncoming SUV failed to move over and slammed into the back of the disabled truck, killing both truckers. 

Both 49-year-old Joseph Dunn and 69-year-old Gary Grier were pronounced dead on scene. The 41-year-old motorist was not seriously injured. The incident is still under investigation.
