Two rescued from inside smoldering semi truck


Two people were rescued from the inside of a flaming semi truck in Utah on Sunday morning. 

The accident happened on May 16th at around 8:30 a.m. on Intersyaye 15. 

According to KSL News, the semi truck was heading southbound on I-15 near mile marker 167 when it drove into a median and caught fire, trapping two people inside. 

Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames and rescue the two people inside. The driver was flown to a nearby hospital with non life threatening injuries, and the passenger was transported to the hospital via ambulance and released. 

The identities of the two people rescued have not been released and the incident is still under investigation.
