VIDEO: Car driver said he didn’t see semi after major merge fail

Published:

A car driver later claimed that he didn’t see the semi truck after swerving directly into its lane in a dash cam clip captured in Ohio last month.

The incident was caught on camera on February 17, 2021, on the Ohio Turnpike.

The dash cammer explains: “This happened to me about four weeks ago on the Ohio turnpike. The guy driving the car came out of the service plaza and crossed three lanes for no reason. The UPS driver who witnessed and he claimed he saw the front of my truck raise up as if I was going to run over the guy. Luckily, no one was hurt except for the Hyundai that was likely totalled with the driver side caved in and outer door panel totally disintegrated and warped. My truck suffered a bent bumper, bent up fender and side of the hood, gouged and scraped wheel, damaged passenger side steps, gouged passenger side stack, gouged and dented passenger side fuel tank and half fender scratched up. The car driver said he didn’t see me.”
