Caught on truck driver dash cam — a motorist makes an ill-advised U-turn and causes a trucker to crash.
The crash was caught on dash cam in Acton, California, on April 19, 2021.
“I was driving a Peterbilt 389 loaded with 4,000 gallons of potable water (over 32,000 lbs) down the highway when somebody made an illegal u-turn right in front of me. I tried to swerve out of the way but still impacted the other car. Had I not swerved the other driver probably would have died,” the dash cammer explained.
