After seeing dash cam video of a frightening close call that happened when cars passed a semi truck, police are seeking the motorist involved.
The video was captured south of Brantford, Ontario, on Monday afternoon.
In the clip, two cars attempt to pass a truck on a single lane, two way road. The first car completes the pass just in time, while the other is forced to veer to the right of the oncoming dash cammer to avoid what could have been a devastating collision.
“Catastrophic head-on crash narrowly avoided on Cockshutt Rd between Oakland Rd and Jenkins Rd.” police said.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) released the dash cam video in hope of identifying the driver involved. If you recognize the vehicle, you’re asked call OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
