A CDLLife reader sent in stomach-churning dash cam video of the moment that a pickup driver lost control while trying to thread the needle between two trucks.
The video was sent in by CDLLife reader Alejandro Suarez, who says that he captured the clip on Sunday near Port Allen, Louisiana.
In the dash cam clip, you can see that the driver of a black pickup truck attempts to maneuver into the tight space between a tanker truck traveling in the left lane and the dash cammer, who is driving in the right lane.
The pickup driver appears to miscalculate the pass attempt and clips the rear of the tanker truck. The pickup then crashes into the left-hand median, flipping several times before coming to a stop.
Remarkably, Suarez said that both people inside the pickup truck survived the violent crash.
