A motorist is facing felony assault charges for a road rage incident caught on camera on an Oklahoma interstate earlier this month.
Steven Coughran, 40, has been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and child neglect, according to local outlet News 9.
The charges were issued for a road rage incident captured on video on August 8 on I-35 in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Video shows Coughran behind the wheel of a red pickup forcing an SUV out of the left lane, then moments later after the SUV returned to the left lane, ramming the SUV into a concrete barrier.
No injuries were reported.
The News 9 photographer who captured the video reportedly called the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and shared the video and an eyewitness report.
Coughran told police at the scene that “You know how testosterone is,” according to the report, and was issued citations for speeding and improper lane change.
Coughran’s four year old son was in the pickup at the time of the incident.
More than a week after the incident, Coughran was arrested on felony charges and booked on a $25,000 bond.
