Idaho State Police (ISP) shared dash cam video of a hit and run crash that led to citations for the truck driver involved.
ISP says that the incident was caught on dash cam last week on I-15 near the Montana border.
In the video, you can see that the driver loses control on the snowy interstate while approaching a stopped ISP cruiser. The truck appears to jackknife, causing the trailer to smash into the cruiser.
Fortunately, the trooper was not inside the vehicle at the time of the crash and was not hurt.
ISP says that the truck driver left the scene and was “found 10 miles from the crash scene into Montana … the Clark County Sheriff’s Office cited the driver for Driving Too Fast for Conditions and Leaving the Scene of a Crash.”
