The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) shared dash cam video of a trooper’s too-close-for-comfort encounter with a semi truck.
The video clip was shared on Thursday as a reminder to the public to drive defensively.
“Make sure that during the winter months you don’t forget the basics! This commercial driver nearly ran an Athens trooper into a guardrail. This serves as a good reminder to always use defensive driving techniques and #DriveSafe. The driver was cited for a marked lanes violation,” OSHP said.
