VIDEO: Vermont troopers escort a huge convoy of truckers honoring fallen military veterans

Published:

Vermont State Police (VSP) shared stirring video of troopers escorting a convoy of semi trucks transporting wreaths to lay on the graves of military veterans.

The video was shared by VSP on December 14.

“The Wreaths Across America – Official Page convoy passed through southeastern Vermont this morning on the way from Maine to Arlington National Cemetery. The Vermont State Police was honored to join the convoy through the state as more than 60 vehicles carried Gold Star and Blue Star Family Members, veterans, truckers, police, children and others on the 750-mile, weeklong voyage. At Arlington, the wreaths are placed on the graves of U.S. service members to remember the fallen and honor those who serve,” state troopers said.

Wreaths Across America was formed as a non-profit 501-(c)(3) organization in 2007 and organizes the transportation and distribution of hundreds of thousands of wreaths to military cemeteries across the United States each year.
