A truck driver showcases an old school trucking skill in this quick clip.
In the video, a trucker can be seen standing on the steps of his rig with his hands reached inside, steering the rig backwards while standing outside of the cab.
The driver expertly maneuvers the truck, reversing into a parking spot until he is confident in his positioning and hops back inside of the cab to finish the job the traditional way.
“That’s an old timer and that requires serious skills,” commented one driver.
“I worked with a couple old school guys when I first started driving that would do that. It’s pretty impressive to me. DOT would probably think differently.”
