Four people were hurt at a Fourth of July block party in Ohio when a U-Haul truck packed with fireworks erupted in an incident caught on video.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 4, in a residential area in east Toledo, Ohio.
At a block party attended by about 150 people, a U-Haul truck packed with fireworks exploded, injuring four people and causing major damage to nearby property.
While the cause of the explosion remains unclear, the Toledo Fire and Rescue’s Arson unit is investigating.
A witness told WBNS, “They threw like a half a stick of dynamite or something into the back of the truck and blew up the truck. And chain reacted and blew up all of the fireworks that we had sitting next to it.”
The series of explosions in and near the U-Haul went on for several minutes and were caught on video, which you can view below.
