In the first instructional clip, Tik Tok trucker @alexnino_ explains how to properly lock your truck door using a seatbelt, and even adds his own extra safety measure.
“It’s just so I can feel a little more comfortable,” he says. “No offense to anyone in Oakland but… I’ve seen some weird stuff out here.”
In the second video, the driver explains one con of the seat belt trick, but counters it with his own trick – the “secret door’ of his semi truck.
In the third video, Alex records a sketchy experience he once had, further demonstrating the importance of the seat belt trick and staying aware of your surroundings as a trucker, no matter the time of day.
