WATCH: Moments before semi crash blocks I-4 in Orlando caught on dash cam

Published:

The motorist that allegedly caused a wreck that left a semi truck stretched across a Florida interstate was caught on a passing motorist’s dash cam on Tuesday.

The accident happened on May 11th at around 6:15 p.m. on Interstate 4 near Michigan Street in Orlando, but the dash cam video shared to a local Florida Facebook page shows the incorrect date.

According to ABC 9 News, a semi truck collided with a car and the impact left the rig stretched across all lanes of westbound I-4.

Miraculously, the truck driver was not hurt. The motorist had to be extricated from their vehicle, but suffered only non-life threatening injuries.

A passing motorist caught the moments before the crash on their dash cam, and it doesn’t look good for the motorist. In the clip, the motorist cuts off the filming driver before veering onto the shoulder and crashing head on into a barrier wall.

“Oh my god… oh my god!” the filming motorist can be heard saying as the swerving car crashes and launches partially into the air. “Oh my god… a tractor trailer! Oh my Jesus,” the filming driver continues.

Hazmat crews had to work for hours to clear the fuel spilled in the wreck, but we’re just happy no one was killed or seriously hurt.
