A trucker was able to escape his flaming, wrecked rig in Boise on Tuesday morning after a collision with at least one other vehicle.
The accident and subsequent escape happened on May 11th on Interstate 84 at 7:36 a.m.
Idaho State Police say that the crash appears to involve vehicles on both sides of the interstate and that at least one person suffered life-threatening injuries.
According to KTVB 7 News, the semi truck was hauling lumber and crashed through a median, which will need to be repaired.
At around noon, eastbound traffic was still affected.
Passing motorists captured footage of the flaming wreckage, and even filmed the truck driver crawling out of his overturned, flame-engulfed cab.
Troopers are still investigating the exact cause of the incident.
