Water outages, restaurant closures are still being reported at dozens of truck stops

Several days after a devastating winter storm, many truck stop locations across the country are still offering only limited services.

Last week’s winter storms brought arctic temperatures to many parts of the country and knocked out power to millions of people, leaving nearly 60 dead.

As services are slowly restored, many truck stop locations report that they are still experiencing water outages and other service issues.

Here are the latest updates for the major truck stop chains as of 11 a.m. on Monday.

• TA Porter South in Indiana, at I-94, Exit 22B, is open Mon-Fri 6 a.m.-10 p.m. and is closed on weekends. Subway is closed. Please visit TA Porter right across the street when TA Porter South is unavailable.
• Please use these alternate routes to get to Petro Jackson in Mississippi. I-20 eastbound/ I-55 northbound exit 45A is closed.
