Woman formerly involved in semi truck theft now accused of starting fires, throwing rocks at cars

Published:

A woman involved in the theft of a semi truck earlier this year is now facing new charges after allegedly setting fires and generally wreaking havoc in Albuquerque on Tuesday morning.

The incident happened on August 10th in Albuquerque, New Mexico near Central and Atrisco Vista.

According to KRQE News, Francine Douglas was seen starting fire and throwing rocks at passing cars. When two men tried to stop her, she allegedly poured gasoline on them and attempted to pin one of the men between two vehicles.

Douglas has since been charged with battery, aggravated assault, and criminal damage to property for the recent incident, which comes just six months after she was forcibly removed from inside of a stolen semi truck.
