The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) confirmed that a major wind storm caused multiple truck blowovers earlier this week.
According to WYDOT, the “wind event” began on the evening of January 12 when some parts of the state saw wind speeds of up to 105 m.p.h.
In the southeastern part of the state, 18 trucks were blown over before roads were closed to high and light vehicles.

• Albany County – Six confirmed blow-overs
• Carbon County – Three confirmed blow-overs
• Wheatland area – Two confirmed blow-overs
High wind warnings remain in effect on Friday morning.
