Interstate 20 was shut down on Monday morning after an accident left a semi truck mangled.Â
The accident happened on the morning of January 10th in Minden, Louisiana.
According to ArkLaTex Homepage News, The accident happened on I-20 eastbound and appears to have involved a tanker truck and a flatbed tow truck. Minden Police say that the incident shut down I-20 from exit 44 to exit 47 to allow officials to investigate the incident and clear the wreckage.Â
The extent of the injuries sustained in the incident is not known.
Drivers looking to travel through the area were asked to take the Dixie Inn exit and reenter the interstate at the Minden/Sibley exit. The area has since been reopened.
