Kentucky State Police (KSP) have confirmed at least one fatality from a multi-vehicle crash near the Kentucky-Tennessee state line.
The initial crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, on southbound I-65 near mile marker 2 in Franklin, Kentucky. This crash reportedly involved five vehicles.

A major secondary crash has also been reported near the site of the original crash.

At least one person is dead. It isn’t yet clear how many people are hurt.
Heavy traffic backups have been reported in the area. Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes.
