A person is dead after slamming into a semi truck on an Interstate in Nashville on Sunday night.
The incident occurred on October 16th just after 11:30 p.m. on northbound Interstate 65 near the Rosa L. Parks Boulevard exit in Nashville, Tennessee.
According to CBS 42, a semi truck exited I-65 onto Rosa L. Parks Boulevard and was stopped at a red light when it was rear-ended by a Lincoln Navigator at speeds of over 100 mph.
The driver of the Lincoln was killed in the crash and one passenger was transported to a nearby hospital. A third passenger, a relative of the driver, fled the scene following the crash.
No further information about the crash has been released, but police say that the vehicle was confirmed stolen earlier this month.
