An entire car wash bay had to be lifted to free a crashed semi truck in Nebraska on Thursday.
The accident happened on September 1st just before 6 a.m. in Chadron.
Chadron Radio reports that the trucker was unloading the semi truck at Skeeter’s NAPA Auto Parts on the northside of 3rd Street at the top of a hill when the semi began to roll across the parking lot.
The truck then rolled across Maple Street, struck another truck parked at the Closer to Home soup kitchen, and then veered south across 3rd Street/Highway 20. The truck then struck the north bay of the Hi-Tech Car Care car wash.
No injuries were reported, and no traffic was using the street when the truck rolled. According to News Channel Nebraska, police are blaming failure to set the brakes for the incident.
