Cement truck driver hurt after falling through parking deck

A cement truck driver was injured after his truck fell through the floor of a parking deck in Connecticut. 

The accident happened on Monday, November 28th at around 11:45 a.m. on Crosby Street.

According to Daily Voice Danbury, the fire department responded after receiving reports that the truck had fallen, and arrived to find the rear axles of the truck had broken through the floor of the one-story parking deck. 

The driver of the truck had been struck in the collapse and was injured. They were taken to a nearby hospital. Their condition is not known. 

The truck was removed using a 100 ton crane at the request of the parking deck owner. No further information has been released.
